With over forty-eight years of experience, owner and chief creator Kim Newman developed a love of baking at twelve. After years of running a home-based business, Kim opened the doors to Cupcake Heaven & Café in Old Town Haymarket in 2008 — built on the simplest promise: the best-quality treats in a family atmosphere, with a hint of nostalgia.
In 2022, along with her brother Mark, the dream of franchising began. A second shop opened in Marshall in April 2023, and our first franchise in Lexington followed that December. We're proud to bring these little tastes of heaven past the boundaries of Haymarket — and hopefully soon to a town near you.
