With over forty-eight years of experience, owner and chief creator Kim Newman developed a love of baking at twelve. After years of running a home-based business, Kim was ready to share her creations on a larger scale.
In 2008, the doors to Cupcake Heaven & Café opened in Old Town Haymarket. Her mission has always been the same — the best quality treats in a family atmosphere, with a hint of nostalgia. Over the years she's donated cupcakes to countless local fundraisers, schools, and community events.
In 2022, along with her brother Mark, the dream of franchising began. A second shop opened in Marshall in April 2023, and our first franchise in Lexington followed that December. We're proud to bring these little tastes of heaven past the boundaries of Haymarket — and hopefully soon to a town near you.
